The Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager with a technical background or experience in aquaculture/biotechnology to help drive our go-to-market strategy and support our expansion through direct sales and strategic partnerships.
You will be responsible for building relationships with potential customers, identifying business opportunities, and working closely with the product and technical teams to communicate the value of our technology.
What You’ll Work On
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive adoption of KOA Biotech solutions.
Identify and engage potential clients in aquaculture, including farms, distributors, and partners.
Support the go-to-market strategy, translating technical product capabilities into business value.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with the technical and product teams to understand customer needs and provide feedback for product improvements.
Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, and reporting.
Explore partnership opportunities to expand market reach.
Who You Are
Experience in sales or business development, ideally in aquaculture, biotech, or a related technical field.
Some technical background (biotechnology, biology, aquaculture, or life sciences) to understand and communicate product value.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and product teams.
Self-starter, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
(nice to have)
Experience with B2B technology sales or working with IoT/biotech products.
Understanding of microbiology, aquaculture operations, or lab workflows.
